Overview

Our sales specialists strive to exceed customer expectations and build strong relationships with home-owners. They actively identify, self generate, and pursue leads, addressing customer’s questions and concerns.  Top performers will have career advancement, leadership, and management opportunities as we continue to grow.  We have a proven track record of developing top performers into the top leaders in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Setting confirmed appointments of residential solar electric systems and energy efficiency services
  • Extensive (DAILY) door-2-door canvassing, outbound dialing, cold calling required; with occasional Inbound (Leads)
  • Prospecting for and qualifying leads
  • Generating project proposals/quotes for customers
  • Analysis of customer’s current and projected electrical usage and financial return on investment
  • Logging all communications with customers in CRM contact database (Zoho)
  • Additional duties required as needed

Education/Training

minimum of two years of college preferred, with the ability to learn the basics of solar, and to perform a simple online site survey. (identify south facing roof with good solar exposure and area and minimal shade etc…)

Qualifications

  • AT LEAST 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in a quota driven role
  • Previous telesales experience is A PLUS
  • Proven ability to build and develop in-home relationships
  • Experience building a book of referral business
  • Desire to stay on the leading edge of the solar and renewable energies industry
  • Understanding of general construction is A PLUS
  • All candidates must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills REQUIRED
  • Excellent customer service skills REQUIRED
  • Excellent most recent and past employment history and personal references REQUIRED
